You are bidding on a wonderful vintage razor by Wester Bros in Germany. The razor is marked Fraternity with the number 33 and appears to have a terrific bone handle . The accents are terrific and the razor appears to be in good condition but could use a good sharpening. The bone handle measures 5 1/2" long while the razor measures the same (tip to tip). The razor swivels very easily and the look of the razor is quite attractive. A great addition to any collection.

Previously I took other forms of I ship all items using the United States Postal Service and use priority mail unless the package is very heavy and being shipped to the west coast or if the item is a heavy book. Shipping costs are based on weight and distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. I am happy to ship using media mail rates on books if asked but please be aware that shipping can get delayed. I've been selling on Ebay for 10 years and although I have a full time job, I certainly enjoy selling on ebay for part time income. I'm happy to answer all questions but please be aware that these questions are normally answered after I have returned home from work. International shipping has increased considerably so if shipping costs are a concern, please contact me and I will provide a quote.

I encourage you to look at my other auctions for a wide variety of items.

I've been recently informed by an educated individual that the handle to this razor is not bone but rather is Celluloid Ivory. I've been told that "Bone is porous and the pores would be visible in the photos. If real ivory then the lines would not be so distinct, and the handles would be almost paper thin. Ivory celluloid being worth more than a bone handle, you may want to revise the bone theory. You can see this info in Roy Ritchie's Standard Guide to Razors."

I'm not a knife or razor expect so I'm going to leave the quote in t as I received it. Thanks again for looking and good luck bidding.
