VINTAGE/ANTIQUE WESTERN ELECTRIC OAK CRANK SUBSTATION & BLACK EXTENSION This is a great vintage telephone. It recently came from an old cabin resort near GRAND LAKE, COLORADO. This phone is in original condition. I have taken lots of detailed pictures so that you can see details and condition yourself. WONDERFUL. Both pieces are marked "WESTERN ELECTRIC". The black phone base is marked D1 and the handset is marked E1. The cord is in great condition. T is a hairline crack in the handle of the handset (please see photo). I believe the telephone is made of bakelite. The wood box is oak. The crank works and when you turn it the bell rings. Both pieces seem to have all of the original parts. However, they have been untested as far as really being able to hook it up and have it usable. This phone system is being sold "as found". GREAT VINTAGE AMERICANA! Very rare to find the complete set and especially in such nice condition. Please take a look at the pictures for details. I would be happy to answer any questions.
