Up for auction is this beautiful vintage Westmoreland covered candy dish. This lovely robin sitting on her nest is made of wonderful thick white milk glass. This piece is extremely detailed, from the feathers on the robin, to the twigs and leaves of her nest. Even the bottom of the twig and leaf pedestal is fully detailed! This old candy dish measures about 6" tall by 6" wide and 5" deep. The inside of this terrific piece is embossed with the lettters "WG" stacked over each other, which is the mark the Westmoreland Glass Company used beginning in the late 1940's. This great covered dish was made around 1952. This piece is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or stains. This wonderful robin on her nest makes a truly stunning display!
