Offered for your enjoyment and bidding pleasure is a Fantastic Vintage White House Brand glass Vinegar Bottle. This bottle is most unusual. First, it is the "Half Gallon" size, which are quite scarce. Second, the bottle design itself is unusual, having a spiral or swirl pattern in the glass and a "square" metal bail handle at the top which is seated in the molded glass. The glass bottle was made by the Owen-Illinois Glass Company and has their trademark logo molded in the glass on the bottom. The bottle itself has no chips or cracks, but does have some cloudiness from age. It even retains its original white painted metal screw-on cap. T is a little rust on the cap and the bail handle consistent with its age. It stands 10" tall and is 4 3/4" in diameter and hold a half gallon, a very nice size. The paper label has a picture of the White House and says "White House Pure Apple Cider Vinegar, National Fruit Product Company, contents half gallon". The label has some fading and fraying around the edges. It probably got wet at some point in time over the years, but is overall in good condition. This is simply a Great Old White House Vinegar Bottle, with a very unusual bail handle design. It will surely enhance anyone's Collection! It really looks great displayed!
