This is a vintage unsigned rhinestone and glass bug pin that is in very good-to-excellent condition. The pin is made with a beautiful frosted and faceted cut white satin glass on the head and body. The head stone and the body stone are the same shade of white although the head stone looks a little grayer/darker some of the pictures. Also, none of the stones have a yellow cast or tinge to them, they are all very white in color. The wings are made with a different stone -- a clear and white swirled glass. All of the stones are prong set and have foil backings that are in a closed setting. The bug's frame has a polished silver tone plating and that is in excellent condition with no deterioration or verdigris and it is approximately 1 5/8" tall x 1 1/8" wide. It has its original locking 'c' clasp that is firmly attached and works well. It's a really pretty and uniquely designed bug pin that you don't see very often with this beautiful satin glass being used.
