WhitingDavis Co. started out making mesh chains and mesh purses in the last part of the 1800s and expanded into a very high quality costume jewelry line. They are known in the jewelry industry for their beautiful Costume Jewelry in the 1950s. Their pieces have now become very collectable and scarce, in good condition. This beautiful vintage silver-tone metal cross pendant with 19 faux pearl accents on the grape vine was produced for gift giving during First Communion and Easter. It was one of my mother Berta’s favorite pieces. The cross pendant measures 2" and comes on a nice 20" silver-tone woven chain that is original to the cross. This necklace and pendant is in good vintage condition, with no missing pearls. Please see the pictures, as they are the most important part of the description; this piece is over 60 years old!
