This Wil-Hold sewing box is a gold color and basket weave design. The box measures 14'' long 9 1/8'' deep and 8 1/4'' high.T are two trays in the box,the top tray has a handle to lift it out and the compartments are named as to what goes in them,they say buttons,thread,bobbins etc. The second tray has removable dividers so you can make the compartments the size you need.The box and trays are in very good condition,no cracks or breaks.The bottom of the sewing box says, Wil-Hold-Wilson MFG Corp-Sunbury PA USA.The box is chock full of vintage sewing item-I will name some of them. Home sewing instruction book its an old one but no date--Hair Pin Lace book 1960--Crochet Matching Sets book of patterns old but no date--Crochet Edgings 1955--Learn How book 1941-- Metal zippers lots--garters--a butter tub full of old buttons--embroidery hoops 3--elaticss--needles--pins--bindings--blanket bindings--patches--hose saver-- snaps--hooks--old travel sewing kit--sewing mach.light bulb--many wooden spools with thread on them--and miscell. items. Lots of the above items are in the original packaging.The sewing box is full of vintage items and is quite heavy.
