THIS AUCTION IS FOR This auction is for a BEAUTIFULvintage dinnerware set for 4 by Wilton Armetale. The set is in very good condition. The pattern is the Bicentennial raised 1776 pattern which was introduced in 1971. The pattern was based on an early adaptation of an early American dinner plate. This pattern was originally designed exclusively for Sears & Roebuck but when that was not finalized it was referred to by many as the "SR" and later the Revolutionary series . The set is in good , unused condition, one of the plates bears slight storage scratches, The is the plate in the photo. The 20 piece set consists of 4 -10" dinner plates, 4 -5 3/4' dessert plates ,4- two hancled porringers that are 6 1/2" in dia.1 1/4 " high, 11 1/4" handle to handle and have the official bicentennial seal on the back 4 - 5" high tankards that hold 12 oz. and 4 dressing or au jus cups. The Wilton Armetale Columbia RWP touchmarks are on the bottom of the plates. The plates have a polished finish on the top and matte finish on the bottom. The tankards and au jus cups are matte finish(see pics) This set together weighs about 27 LBS.Check out my other auctions for more Wilton Armetale . I will gladly supply more pictures upon request.
