Vintage Wilton Ware Old Willow Lidded Cheese Dish - similar to Booths Old Willow Description Wilton Ware Ye Old Chinese Willow Gilt Edged Lidded Cheese Dish for sale. The base measures 15cm (6 inches) x 12cm (4.75 inches) and the dish with lid on is approximately 8.5cm (3.5 inches) high. It is in good used condition with no chips or restoration. There is just underglaze crazing and slight hairline crack to the base and marking as illustrated in the photograph with slight wear to the gilt edging. It has the A.G.HJ Wilton Ware, Ye Old Chinese Willow, Made in England backstamp. Vintage Wilton Ware was the brand name of the A.G.Harley-Jones factory and was produced in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent England between 1904 - 1934 so this p iece is getting on for 100 years old.
