VINTAGE WIRE CHICKEN HEN BASKETWith One Dozen Brown Plastic EggsWHAT IS IT? Do you like chickens? This vintage egg basket is made of wire sculpted into the shape of a chicken. It comes complete with twelve brown eggs which are made of soft plastic and are hollow. This was a useful item in old times to gather eggs, wash them clean right in the basket and let them drain. T are metal loops that either close over the opening to keep the eggs safely inside, or open out like flower petals. The handles of the basket fold down and look like wings. Cute.
