WELCOMEThank you for visiting! The Cub Scouts have been in existence since about 1930, and this wall plaque probably dates back to very close to that time. It was from the estate of a man born about 1930; since the "Wolf" scouts are eight years old, this would date to somew around 1940. It is made of some kind of composite wood-plastic material that is a slightly lighter color than it appears in the photos. Inside a diamond cartouche, it features a relief head of a wolf over "CUBS, BSA" and this all over a relief pawprint. Outside this, with one word at each corner of the square plaque is "A CUB IS SQUARE". The entire plaque is surrounded by a cabled border. A hole is pieced between and above the wolf's ears to allow the piece to be hung. to see other items in my store: Books Dinnerware Jewelry Misc Collectibles Paintings and prints Porcelain, pottery, ceramics Silver items Vases and planters Add Me To Your Favorite Sellers List!
