Estate sale found vintage "Alfred Dunhill London" tobacco cigar humidor box in very good as found condition. This looks to be made of walnut or similar wood with an interior lined with spanish cedar and white plastic or glass. The surface condition on the exterior is not perfect with some superficial wear and minor handling soiling to the finish in places but I'm sure a little oil applied with fine steel wool will make most of this disappear. The interior has minor abrasion and stains from normal use, there is also one removable desiccant bar? in the lid. The brass side keeper works excellent and hold the lip open just past the upright position for two hand access in the box. The Dunhill paper label is curled up on the bottom right corner/edge but it's not torn or missing any area and will glue back down if you want it perfect. The brass hinge is in fine working order with no signs of stress and is secure with all the original screws untouched. The bottom is covered with an original brown felt which does have some modest wear on the corners. Overall this humidor is in fine shape with just some minor cosmetics from 40 or so years of occasional use. Measures approx 11" wide x 8" x 4" high. Displays well, a nice addition to any collection.
