This is a wood bound travelling trunk once owned by the well known crime writer Ngaio Marsh - please see pictures of the travelling ticket and initials on the trunk. The trunk has a lot of character - albeit showing its age with some scuffing and knocks - and would be great for storage or display. There are 2 points that are damaged - see the photos - the first is where the side of the lid and the top have become separated, although I'm sure this could be fixed. The second is at the side where the fabric of the trunk and the wood binding have been penetrated, presumably in travel. Dimensions 90x48x30
