Vintage Wood Fireplace Bellows Leather & Brass, Works! This is a vintage fire bellows for use in a home. Here in Maine, tending to a hearth is a big part of our lives, and so you usually don't see many of these bellows in as good of shape as this one. I believe the wood is walnut, and the bellows is made of soft leather held in place with heavy brass tacks. It has a leather hanging strap for hanging near the hearth. There is a brass eagle in the center of the top. It works well, and would work even better if modern glue were used to secure the leather in addition to the brass tacks. Measures 15" long. The tip is brass, with worn gold plating. Shipping via Priority Mail. Paypal and mailed payments welcome! Inquiries welcome. !
