Welcome to my auction My name is Cindy Hilliard. I am a freelance artist with over 25 years experience, 14 of which have been in the interior design trade in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. I most enjoy painting florals on canvas & other vintage decorative pieces. This auction is for a vintage wooden match safe. It appears to be homemade as the backplate is not perfectly symmetrical but the piece is nice and sturdy. I gave it a new black finish with a tuscan village scene on the front. All the oak leaf & acorn accents are painted in metallic gold. The entire piece has been antiqued & measures approx. 9.25" tall x 5.5" wide. Is signed on back. If you are the winning bidder, I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed painting it. All of the items I refurbish are usually vintage or antique. They occasionally will have small dings, dents or worn edges. I will always try to note anything obvious. Note: Unfortunately I cannot offer any custom painting due to time constraints.
