Up for your consideration is this pretty inlaid wood, or marquetry, mountain scene picture. The colors are browns, golds of different depths and hues. I don't know what type of wood was used, but I am told by the original owner's son that it was a hand made gift to her in the 1950's. It measures 10 1/2" tall by 7 3/4" wide and has a glossy finish of either varnish or lacquer. The gloss made it hard to photograph, and I have included pictures taken with and without the flash. This is a vintage item, and with it comes minor scratches and little dents/dings, but nothing major. It hangs by a string on the back which is attached with two eye hooks.
