Vintage Wood Millinery Hat Block--signed. Looks like it reads "Hoff-man" or "GHoff-man". It is written in cursive, clearly visible, but I am not familiar with the manufacturer. It reads on the bottom "5 3/4---7 1/2" and the # 81. Circumference on the bottom is 24". It is 5 3/4" tall x 6 3/4" wide x 8" long. The hole in the center on the bottom is 7/8". The wood is very lightweight, possible poplar or pine? The wood has some age cracks. Tried to get a picture of the manufacturer's name, but couldn't focus the camera well enough.
