� My item up for auction, is a vintage, merchandising,hanging rack displaying the Beaver Brand (known in the sporting good world for their paddles and canoes.) The 2' long and 6" deep paddle rack has the Beaver Brand logo on it and says "Beaver Brand Paddles and Oars" and "Leatherwood Mfg Co., Inc. -Clarksville, Tenn. However this particular hanging display came from a sporting goods shop in Birmingham, Al. � Two years ago the long standing sporting goods shop closed down, but not before a lucky few were able to purchase a great many items in the beloved, historical, downtown store. This mix-material hanging rack, constructed from particle board where the brand name was painted on in green paint. To the two long pieces of wood that run horizontally across back of the particle board for hanging and help with the weight of the paddles and oars. (there are also four holes where you screw the rack to your desired wall). � And lastly eight dowels for hanging four paddles. The sign itself has marks of demarcation where the employees and customers hung back the paddles. Along with the advertising coolness of the sign � and the originality and functionality of the sign itself and the patina from a life of use, you have an awesome display piece that is authentic and full of history. � Buyer pays for shipping.
