VINTAGE wooden JEWELLERY BOX with Marquetry & Inlaid Detail Decorative archways / pillars / temple / mosque / ancient-building -like / Arabicwith locking key Made in Spain by V. A vintage wooden jewellery box hexagonal shape / six sided has the maker`s worn label on base :- " Artesana Granadina V. Molero Granada Made in Spain " are most of the details inlaid decorative detail in the wood fitted with plastic decorations around the lower half of exterior to resemble arch-ways and pillars has a key and lock, which does work but sometimes it has to be twiddled with a bit for it to catch, but it does lock & un-lock inside has the red velvety - felt fabric removable top layer box is approx = 4 3/4 ins high x 6 1/4 ins wide x 9 ins long 12 x 16 x 23 cms the outer base area is larger all around outer base has the fabric in a different colour, which has some wear and stains Box is not perfect ... a piece of the wooden base has broken off the rear edge, with missing triangular shapes along there and part sides,the tip of the one side too is broken, which can be seen in the photos, there are some other very small knocks here and there .... no other pieces missing apart from those on the base the hinge works fine and the lid will stay upright un-aided lid works great the interior`s lining is a bit dusty it just looks vintagey but even though it has damage it is still an interesting attractive box ... no idea of age weighs just over 770 grams, not a light-weight box Please ` /m PLEASE enlarge the photos for closer detail ALL POSTAGE & SHIPPING COSTS are shown above, ` A choice of postage to UK Royal Mail AIRMAIL to the rest of the world if a tracking service is required then this will be an extra cost ...please contact for price ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please read all parts of listing before considering a bid including the postage costs.
