This is an old wooden boat model / toy. Found it at an estate auction in eastern North Carolina. Lots of nautical items in the sale. I think the owner may have been a Captain of some sort. Can't tell that it was played with. Looks like it was just displayed. It's old and the electrical components are a bit brittle due to age. One of the wires to the motor is detached from it's solder joint. I don't have the tools or the eyesight to make the repair anymore, but the motor turns and doesn't appear to be stuck. I put some batteries in the holders & the lights operated with the switch on the stern turned on. I make NO REPRESENTATION that any of the components are operable, just letting you know what I found when I tried them so you will have a fair representation of the item --- I hate covered up surprises..... The wood and paint are in pretty good shape except for the tip of the nose as shown in picture #9. The rudder functions properly. Please also note in picture #12 that the plastic in the windshield has deteriorated and the windshield is detached from the model - probably from the old glue drying out. Included is the two piece stand someone made for it. Displays very well. Sold as is. No warranty expressed or implied. No returns accepted. Can provide more pictures if you need them.
