You are bidding on a propeller off of a R56 Kinner with a 175 hp motor. This came from a neighbor of ours that was an aircraft mechanic in the mid 40's to the late 50's before he became an aircraft mechanic at Boeing until retirement. He recalls that this came off the plane because it was rejected after vibration caused a crack in the wood. It was used for military purposes for training and was not in actual military use in the field. He used to have some documentation on it but it has long been lost. He is having me sell this for him because he is moving to a warmer climate in the winter so he won't have to plow snow anymore to get out of the driveway. It is approximately 6-1/2 feet long. Does have cracking in the propeller which I did my best to photograph. The pink thig in the photo is a yard stick sso you can see how big it is. Needs to be shipped via UPS due to the size or you may pick up if you are in our area. T is a reserve price on this set by the owner.
