VINTAGE Sewing Box By A.S Strommer Bruk Hammar Product of Norway Makers label inside and stamp on bottom 1540-58 This is an excellent vintage fold out style sewing box. It was previously owned by a friends grandmother and well maintained. It has beautiful hardwood construction, I think maple. While it is closed it measures; width is 20" from side to side, length from top to bottom is 17" and is 11" deep. When open it spreads to 52" long. All joints are smoothly movable and all screws are intact. A well made sturdy box with many more years of use. Condition is excellent except for small knick in handle and one leg. I am not an expert so please ask questions. If you would like I can email you more pictures. Insurance is required, no returns so ask questions. I added more pictures of box totally open to see inside storage space and the small imperfections that does not detract from beauty. A perfect addition to any collection!
