Unique pocket size wooden snuff / pill / collectable box with silver inlay and ends. Measures 3 1/2" long/length, 1 3/4" deep/width, and 3/4" tall. Hinged lid with tight fitted closure. Inside storage area is approx 2 1/2" x 1". Dark Hardwood polished finish, unfinished interior. Inlay on lid looks like a forest scene with a hunter chasing a wolf, very nicely done, very intricate. I believe it is 925 Silver but it is not marked and I have no way to test it. I looked at it through a 45x loop and can only see minor surface scratching, NO metal wear or discoloration....looks like silver. Only marking I can find is inside the lid... Handstamped "MADE IN FRANCE". Box is in excellent condition, inside looks unused and like new. Listed at an incredibly low starting bid, your chance to get a nice item at a great price!
