This terrific lamp is being relisted due to the last high bidder not reading the description carefully. ********The lamp needs a new socket and new wiring. ******** Please Note: This is a 3-Day Auction. Additionally, due to the epidemic of non-paying bidders, any bidder with 0 to 5 feedback must contact me prior to bidding for authorization. Up for auction is this very cool old, vintage Woodward industrial lamp with black porcelain enamel shade. P lease ask any/all questions before bidding. The lamp articulated at two joints, telescopes , and swivels/rotates at a couple others...not to mention, the bottom arm can be positioned vertically or horizontally in the mounting base. What this all means is that there are practically an unlimited number of positions this terrific lam p can assume. Rugged cast-iron and steel pieces. Good original black paint of the cast-iron. All screws & bolts intact, matching, and they appear to be original. The shade is good, with some wear and surfac e rust around a few edge s. The switch on the Bryant paddle socket is not operating properly and is un-safe. T herefore, the socket mus t be replaced. ***Wiring is not original.*** The plug is in very poor condition and is very da ngerous. Therefore, the wiring is now cut off up to the upper arm, for safety , since it must be rewired anyway and was very unsafe. The lamp possess es a perfect natural Industrial patina...not perfect, and not trashed. P lease let me know if you require additional information and/or photos.
