This is a working, electric, wall, planters clock from the late 1960's. What a great piece of history and so very interesting, a real conversation piece. Designed and manufactured by Mechtronics Corporation Stamford, Connecticut . It can also be set on mantle, or shelf. The sun and moon rise according to the time. The moon moves across the open space on the front of the dial. It has a chart on the bottom that lets you know when it is safe to plant your vegetables and an a wheel on the bottom that shows the time to plant, dates of last killing frost in spring, first killing frost in fall with dates. The back comes off to make any adjustments. I plugged the clock in and it runs and keeps time very well. It is in very good vintage condition. Size is approx. 10-1/2" x 4" x 15". Besides telling regular time this tells a farmer/gardener when to plant their seeds/crops. This is an electric motored clock (Made In USA) and NOT quartz. .Shipping will be $15.00 in the US, elsew please email me for a quote. Vintage Working Electric Planters Wall Clock
