Up for auction is a vintage working Rockwell parking meter. The meter is most likely from the 1960's and is in excellent condition considering its age and amount of use it has seen from motorists. Everything on the meter is original, including the locks. The body of the meter has a few scratches, some minor imperfections, and some places where the paint is flaking off, but there are no dents or cracks. The lenses are clear with no cracks. There is a horizontal scratch on the front lens - please view the close-up photos. The meter takes nickels, dimes, and quarters and has a 2 hour limit. The internal meter parts have been oiled, cleaned, and tested and once you put in the coin the meter operates as it should. Some of the pictures show the meter counting down the time and some show the meter with time expired. With your purchase I include a key for both the clockworks portion (the upper part) and the money vault. The meter comes mounted on a removable wooden stand that is about 7" x 7". The total height of the meter is almost 21". You are viewing the actual meter you will be bidding on. This is truly a unique gift for that someone special. Or, it can be used as a bank or timer! Buyer to pay $19.65 shipping and handling in the continental US. Shipping and handling to Canada will be $47.50. Insurance is included in shipping and handling to either destination. If you have any questions or need more information please email me before bidding. Thank you for viewing my auction.
