Please note that the photographs may show the badge as being larger than it is in reality. Please also note that there are issues with the white enamel. In brass and white, red and blue enamels. In the form of a horse shoe, in-filled with white enamel and with shoe 'nails' showing through the enamel; to the bottom there is the message: GOOD LUCK . To the middle there is an applied badge; the badge has a King's crown to the top, the cushions being in red enamel, above a pair of wings with a circle to the centre, bordered by laurel and with RAF to the circle which has been in-filled with blue enamel. To the back of the badge there is a pin badge fitting. The badge measures approximately 33 mm by 28 mm at the extremities. The central RAF badge is in good condition. The white enamel is missing to a part of the horse shoe just below the left hand wing of the RAF badge. Just above the right hand wing of the RAF badge there are several black lines, indicating surface cracks to the enamel. The badge is un-cleaned and the metal needs cleaning and polishing up, especially to the back where there are some dark patches. Please ask any questions.
