This fedora was made in the 1950s by Wormser hats. It is their "Supreme Quality" fur felt and the model is the "Carlisle", which is extremely similar in style and dimensions to a "Whippet".The hat sports an elegant and understated gray on gray color scheme, and is creased with a teardrop and front pinches. The hat has very nicely done ribbon work, with a twisted bow knot and double bow. The stitching is all but invisible. It is complimented by a matching wind string.The inside of the hat has a white liner, with the color wormser logo under plastic. The wormser crest and the legend "hatters to men" are found on the sweatband, along with the model name, felt quality and the original owner's initials.Condition: Excellent.Size: 7Brim Width: 2-3/8"Crown Height: 5-1/4"Ribbon Width: 1-5/8
