Vintage WW1 Canadian / British War Wounded Stripe Vintage World War One Canadian/British "The Wounded Stripe". Original. These were awarded when a soldier was wounded. A soldier could have been awarded more than one stripe if they were wounded multiple times. They were worn on the sleeve of the uniform. The stripe is brass & measures approx. 2" in length. Includes original backing plate that reads "The Wounded Strip No 4 PAT 115896". Also includes what appears to be the original pin. Both lugs are present. This piece is used, but in good condition. It exhibits light wear, as shown including some minor bends. This would make a nice addition to your valuable collection. Please see photos for more details. See our other auctions for similar items!
