Vintage German Carl Zeiss Jena DRP brass binoculars. We believe these binoculars were used by the German military during the First World War and/or the Second World War. However, we could not find very detailed information on this model. As is always the case with Zeiss products, these binoculars are superbly made. We do not have a case.

Constructed on a sturdy brass frame with leather len cap and leather grips. The lens still work and focus fine, but we aren't sure what the power is for these binoculars. The brass still has its original patina. The leather lens cap is in very good condition and still flips up as it should. The leather strap is attached and intact and still perfectly functional. The leather grips are mostly intact but show some wear, visible in the pictures. T is a crack and some loss of the hard rubber (or plastic) eyepiece covering, visible in the photo below, but the brass underneath is intact. This does not affect the functionality of the binoculars.

We have not cleaned or made any changes or repairs to the binoculars. Dimensions are 6" wide, 5" tall and 2.5" deep.
