~ Rare Vintage World War I ~ WWI Military Photograph General John J Pershing General Foch Generalissimo & Yankee Chief at Pershing's Chateau ~ Dimensions ~ 9.5 inches by 7 inches ~ Caption attached to lower reverse and seen in photo at bottom of photo: The Generalissimo and The Yankee Chief - General Foch with General John J Pershing, Commander-in-Chief of the American Expeditionary Forces in France. (Taken at General Pershing's Chateau. ) This photo is attached to paper from an old scrapbook and I leave the removal to the buyer. Although the other listed has the following on the reverse: Signal Corps AEF U.S. Army Photographic Laboratory & is stamped AEF Passed As Censored - see my other photos from this same group of estate items!! More of Pershing - our President and Browning guns and family! This photo has some of the odd translucent coloring on the left that you see in old photos - I rescued these from being thrown in a dumpster!!! Military militaria collectible vintage war photos! 1.
