Hello, for your consideration is this WWII FM 21-100 War Department Basic Field Manual Soldiers Handbook, July 23, 1942. This book is in very good condition, with the cover having minor wear and is signed by the soldier in red pencil on the top of the front cover. Inside the front cover, on the front page he wrote, " pfc pvt 1 class tiers(?) . (column leader) General Orders. Rifle no. 26660987. Serial no. 37742338 Corporal Beck (picture) Srge stats (1 song) The second little book is the Austria Soldiers Guide. It is in well used condition, front cover has a slight tear along the fold, but for its age I would say its in good condition. The 3rd book is his "Spoken German" War department education Manual EM 518, This book is missing its front and back covers as it has seen alot of use in its life. pages have some fraying but other than that, not bad. The 4th book is the "going Back to Civilian Life" August 1945. On the inside cover he writes " Roster No.- -- 59" This little book is in excellent shape a few minor scuffs on the cover. The 5th book is " History of the 328th Infantry Regiment" This book is the REAL gem! In this book he has written notes and circled dates on activities that happened. Underlining names and dates and locations. There are also some scibbling in pencil on some pages (more than likely from a child)
