This piece was acquired from a long time collector of Aviation History in Northwest NJ years ago and was informed that it was used in Military War birds from the WW2 era. The compass is in pristine condition with No Scratches, Chips, Cracks or Surprises on the glass lens. The compass case is in excellent condition as well and measures: 5âe L x 5-1/4âe W x 5-1/4âeH. The recessed distance from the back face plate to the rear is 3-3/4âe in depth. This instrument is built like a tank and has a net weight before shipping of 2 pounds. This piece would make a great addition and is deserving of a place in the finest collections of WW2 Memorabilia. This is a Used Vintage Instrument and is being offered as a Collectible Only.
