Vintage WWII US Army Air Force A-9 Pilot Flying Gloves

Bidding is for a pair of US Army Air Corp A-9 Flying Gloves. These are in very good condition with the Army Air Force stamp on the right hand still clearly visible while imprinted on the left hand has more wear. Wings and star the left are still visible but some of the letters in Army Air Force are gone. These gloves have the label inside which calls out:

Type A-9 OWG. NO. 34D3414 A.C. Order No. 4219308 Size medium Perry Sportswear Inc. Newburgh, N.Y. Property Air Force , U.S. Army.

Wool like liners are intact and feel nice, there are no tears in the leather and while these were worn during the war are still very supple and flexible which attest to the quality of the leather used to make them.

These gloves came from a retired US Air Force officer who flew in the 8 th Air Force during WWII and have been in storage for over 60 years. They could be part of a WWII uniform collection or reenactment and would be a nice addition to a collection. Please email me for additional pictures.
