Lithographed in U.S.A. by Craftsman Press, Seattle The FOREWARD reads: This book has been prepared with the object of presenting pertinent data on B-17F airplanes in a condensed and convenient form. Information contained herein is of interest to those who operate and maintain B-71F airplanes. Under existing conditions it is impossible to place revision sheets in the hands of personnel holding these manuals. Therefore, a permanent binding has been used which makes this book more compact, easier to handle and of a shape convenient to be carried in the pocket. In order to keep information contained herein up to date, revised reprints will be distributed frequently. May 1, 1943 Note: Research reveals it's unlikely that reprints exist.
