Vintage WWII Bowers Trench Cigarette Lighter Sure Fire This is a trench lighter made by Bowers Mfg in Kalamazoo , Michigan . On one side is a shield imprinted with the name BOWERS. On the opposite side is another shield imprinted with the name SURE FIRE. T are Kalama Zoo Mfg U.S.A. on the side. It is made of steel. It only needs a new flint and fluid. The lighter is complete. The outside slides up around the wick to eliminate the wind from blowing out the flame. @@@
