Vintage Military Soldiers Personal Brown Warranted Genuine Leather Cowhide Trunk #638 Monogrammed D.T.E. Metal latches With Metal Lock Leather Straps With Metal Buckles Plaid Fabric Lining the trunk is 26 inches long 13 inches wide 7 inches high. This trunk was originally owned by one of my relatives in Deer Island who has long since died perhaps in the war. I do not know for sure but my mothers maiden name was Eaton and the piece was found in the house of the late Gweneth and Gerald Eaton's house and given to me after their death. The Monogram last letter was E so most likely the soldier was an Eaton. I have not done any historical research on this piece but it believe it has some historical value.
