This auction is for a wonderful collection of items carried by a Nurse in WWII. The smaller silver rosary has a beautiful tiny cross and Corpus....the rosary is marked Sterling and measures 12" when laid out. Metal rosaries are carried by military personal because they hold up in the rigors of war. The rosary case is very small (1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/2") red leather and has a small religious statue that fits in t also. The statue, I believe, is St. Joseph and Jesus and it measures just under 1" tall. The scapular has The Sacred Heart of Jesus and two tiny medals on one side and COMFORT ME IN ALL MY LONELY HOURS and tiny cross on the other side. It is oval shaped and measures 1 7/8" x 1 3/8". T is also an old WE SALUTE OUR WAR NURSES envelope and a small metal Red Cross pinback. All items will come to you in very nice vintage condition. Please ask questions prior to bidding.
