However, because we did not have the appropriate equipment to safely power on this vintage item we did not test it. We did not want to damage the sensitive components by improper testing. The inside parts/tubes look to be in good working condition. Please see below for high-resolution photos of this unit's internals. Product Description: The radio was introduced in 1972 and was the replacement for the FTdx560. The electronic design is based off of the FT-401. The FTdx-570 is rated 560 watts SSB PEP input. The receiver is rated at .5 uv sensitivity for 20 db S/N. The selectivity is 2.3 Khz at -6 db. The filter is a mechanical unit (not Collins). A few tubes (not finals) operate very hot. One is the 6BM8 audio output. The receiver is known to be stabile and function well on the ham bands. The photos are of THE ACTUAL item and all the components for sale. The shipping weight of this item is 52 pounds. Store & Payment Policies: Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. We can ONLY accept PayPal as a form of payment.
