Vintage Yellow Gold Velvet Wooden Footed Footstool This auction is for a very nice old footstool. The footstool is covered in yellow or gold velvet, or likewise soft material, and has wooden legs. The stool measures approximately 15" long, 10" wide and 8" tall. It is in wonderful condition, but something sat on top of it and created a depressed line on top of it. The bottom of the piece has some writing on the wood. It says Recovered by Jane Strickland Augusta Maine June 1932. Then it says recovered by Jane Strickland Sept. 1967 for Miss Fuller. This seat has been recovered twice, once in 1932 and once in 1967. Please Note: We charge a $4.50 handling fee for this item plus actual shipping costs. We charge this handling fee to offset our shipping personnel, labor and shipping and packing materials which get quite costly.
