This wonderful blue & white transferware plate is 9.75" round. It is marked York Minster on the reverse side. This piece was made by the Henshall Co. It is in excellent condition with little if any wear to the face or back. We are unfamiliar with the picture,but believe it is the castle at York Minster. T appears to be a lake with a sailboat on it; in the foreground are depictions of people at the lake. THe plae is highly decorated with flowers and a painted rim. We believe this piece to be hard to find, and would make a great addition to any blue & white collection, or as a great wall decoration in any home. It is being sold with a reasonable reserve as a part of an estate liquidation. Buyer pays all postage and insurance via USPS Priority. Cashier/'s check or money order are preferred & guarantee immediate attention; a personal check is OK knowing the item remains 10-14 business days for check clearing.
