Regrettably I cannot find alot about this particular radio as I purchased this and others from my collection from the local Antique dealer nearby about 2 years ago. Because of space constarints and other hobbies I am letting go to some of my favorite colelctables. What I can tell you about this is the following. I believe it to be an early 30's Cathedral type wooden Zenith tube radio. I have tested this unit and it lights up and funtions although I guess with todays radio I could only get one local channel to come in. Everything appears to work well. The only damage I an see which I noticed at the time of purchase was a chip on the top crown of the front of the radio and a small hole in the covering asseen in the picture. More pics are available at your request. The finish is a light walnut I believe, the pic makes it look more like a cherry. Original cord with possibly one replaced tube in the back. Otherwise all original. PLEASE READ ALL OF MY TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THIS AUCTION! Each and every item is listed to the best knowledge and ability of the seller. GOD BLESS! is some additional info I grabbed! Model 805 1935 By 1935, Zenith was considering the "cathedral" style of cabinet a bit archaic. The 805 was the last cathedral Zenith offered even though a few other manufacturers continued with the style for a year or two more. This little five tube set is a good performer and the two tone finish with black japan trim is quite attractive. Covers BC and one Shortwave band. Zenith Model 805, 1935. This 5- tube, BC/SW set was the last cathedral-style cabinet that Zenith produced. It featured Zenith's new highly touted "triple filtering" and a hairline shadow-dial indicator for easy tuning. This model sold for only $29.95.
