Vintage Zenith Wood Tombstone Tube Rado Model 5-S-29

This is a vintage Zenith tombstone tube radio, Model 5-S-29. It measures 17 1/2 inches in height, 13 inches in width, and 8 1/4 inches in depth. It has a number of N144017. The radio has been re-wired and when I plugged it in it lit up and made loud humming. I believe it would need an antenna. The wood is very nice with no cracks and just some mild age wear. All 4 knobs are present and the cloth grill is very nice with no holes or rips. All tubes appear to be present. The elderly gentleman I purchased this from recently told me that the last time he used it, it worked fine. Nice old radio, please see my other auctions for more old tube radios!
