What a great piece of vintage/antique jewelry this is! A truly RARE, rare find! You will be hard pressed to find another old piece this great and in such fabulous condition!! A winged scarab that appears to be turquoise, it has some green tints and t and dark coloring in the grooves that only serves to help show the detail of the scarab! The wings are done in silver~no idea if it is sterling or silver metal as it is not marked (not unusual for old pieces). They have what appears to be blue and red enamel over the silver. The back has a C-Clasp which is a good indicator of it's age. The scarab is 1" x 3/4" and the wing span is 2 1/4". Everything is in near perfect condition with only the slightest wear to the blue enamel toward the tops of the wings. I've personally owned this for over 15 years. It is a really magnificent piece of jewelry history! I am sorry to have to add this because 99.9% of my dealings with buyers and sellers has been truly delightful!
