For sale is my late 19th century violin. It is a stradivarius copy made in the former Czechoslovakia around the late 1890's according to a recent valuation. It is 57cm total length, 19.5cm across the base of the body and 34cm in length for the body and on average 38mm in depth. Across the top body it is 17.7cm. Inside the body reads "Antonius Stradiuarius Cremouensis . Faciebad anno 1736. The violin was restored some 30 years ago by an english luthier. It has fine tuners on each string and has received a new chin rest, tail piece and one new peg. It has a lovely sycamore back and spruce front and still plays well. It comes with its original bow from when i was given this some 50 years ago. In its old case which is in a very poor condition. This would make a good instrument to play on as I no longer have the time. Local collection only as delicate. Payment via paypal or upon collection. Good luck on bidding.
