I have had this set since i was a child ( 1980's), and it was already old then. It is a figure of 8 track, stainless steel - which slots into brown plastic ridges. The two cars are intact and are in working order. The whole set is working, i tested it just before christmas - it does need some fiddling around to make sure all the connections between the track are touching (using bits of tinfoil helps!) It s a great set, it has a Hornby train set adapter included which works perfectly with this set. It is not absolutely mint condition - it has been well played with over the years but it is a working item in pretty good condition for its age. Payment to be made by PayPal or Personal Cheque within 7 Days of Auction Ending. Thanks.
