Offered...an important and stunning, channel inlaid squash blossom necklace attributed to Zuni master, Virgil Dishta Sr. This beauty is a twin to the example on page 94 in Skystone and Silver . This necklace, boasting fine handmade beads, has no obvious turquoise drop-out nor filler. I can find 2 stones with old healed secure cracks. This necklace is quite typical of the form becoming popular in the 1930's and '40's. It measures closed 13.5". It is in excellent vintage condition and the silver has a good old patina.
