You are considering a beautifully ornate Virginia Metalcrafters brass Oval Florentine Frame with easel back. Lacquered the brass is in great vintage condition with a slight darkening to ares of the lacquer from age. The glass does show roughness to the edges which do not show when in place, the original back is gone and has been replaced with cardboard. Hallmarked on the back with the item numbers 12-9 and a faint VM foundry mark. It measures 8 1/4" tall x 5 1/2" wide and the picture opening will hold a 3" x 2 1/2" photo.
