You are considering a stunning Virginia Metalcrafters Harvin Acanthus Leaf Crystal Hurricane Candlestick. In good vintage condition the original lacquered finish is intact and has remained bright with minimal wear for age. Measurements are 12 3/4" high with hurricane in place x 7 1/4" wide at the base. The mouth blown hurricane measures 10 1/4" high x just under 4 1/2" top opening and has a few rough areas to the fitter end and a few (hardly noticable) small scratches. Candlestick without hurricane measures 3 1/2" tall. Hallmarked on the underside of the Acanthus leaf base with the Harvin foundry mark and the item numbers 3100. Virginia Metalcrafters continued using Harvin's foundry mark throughout their production of decorative brass accessories. Certainly a beautiful addition to your VM collection.
