This was part of the Virginia Slims 1970s campaign to portray smoking as the liberated woman's prerogative. Its pages contrasted the smartly, sexily turned out models, sporting their long and slender cigarettes, with humorously staged photos of that fusty, sepia-toned era when women were subject to humiliation for breaking the gender tobacco barrier. The book measures approximately 8" x 4" and is in very good condition, with no markings. Great gift for that 31-year-old female smoker who's so hard to shop for. Or buy it now in advance of your Class of '77 40-year H.S. reunion.
